Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open NextBite on your iPhone
- Go to Settings (profile tab)
- Tap Delete account
- Confirm when prompted
Deletion starts immediately. Your account, saved restaurants, shared videos, folders, and profile information are permanently removed from our systems, including Firebase and analytics tied to your user ID.
What we delete
- Sign-in account record (Apple or Google via Firebase Authentication)
- Profile data (name, email, optional birthday and gender)
- Saved restaurants, video links, and processing jobs
- Folders, custom events, and uploaded images in your account
- Product analytics identifiers associated with your account (PostHog)
Some information may be retained for a limited time in encrypted backups or server logs as required for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations, then deleted according to our retention practices described in our Privacy Policy.

If you cannot access the app or deletion fails, email nextbitesupport@gmail.com from the email address tied to your NextBite account. Include "Account deletion request" in the subject line. We typically respond within 2-3 business days.
Before you delete
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- If deletion fails with a security message, sign out, sign in again with Apple or Google, then retry Delete account.
- Uninstalling the app does not delete your account or cloud data.
